This is an American Heart Association ACLS Provider/ACLS Renewal class. The class is 4-6 hours a day over 1 or 2 days depending on if it  an initial or recert  with approximately 4 hours of self study required. We will provide you a packet with all necessary materials to complete the class and an outline of what must be studied. We will then reinforce this information in the classroom. All ACLS skills stations will be taught in the classroom, as well as testing, e.g.., airway, AED and mega code. The written ACLS final exam is proctored in the classroom as well. The preparation for the ACLS Course prior to attempting completion is mandatory for successful completion.

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Through the ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Course, providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies.  With advanced ACLS skills, it will emphasize the importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival; the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions; and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.
